I got this book for my mom for Christmas this year. She's a huge Beverly Lewis fan, and always looking for ideas for dinner, so I thought it was the perfect gift for her. She loved it!!!

I love this book. For a busy mom of an infant and two toddlers I really needed a simple no nonsense cookbook and this hits the spot
great recipes a lot of which have been used in my family for years and I just never knew how to make them

I can't believe the negative, reviews on here. I have this book and love it. I think some are just having a case of sour grapes, at not being a good cook. I would highly recommend this cookbook. I have visited the Amish country in PA, many, many times and have eaten in Amish homes and I'd say, this book is, on the mark with many of the dishes, in the area. Be kind, people and honest. This book is worth getting and USING!
