Southern Lights (Large Print)

After her husband’s betrayal, Alexa Hamilton left the South for New York, buoyed by ambition that has finally paid off: She’s become an assistant D.A. known for handling only the toughest cases. But Alexa isn’t prepared for the danger inherent in prosecuting serial killer Luke Quentin. She’s convinced that despite being behind bars, the psychopath is the one sending threatening letters to her 17-year-old daughter. With her only child in jeopardy, Alexa makes the difficult decision to send Savannah back to the father she barely knows. Will Charleston, the vanguard of Southern charm and gentility, seduce Savannah as she, too, was once seduced?

Danielle Steel’s Southern Lights is a masterfully told tale you won’t soon forget.

Another winner!

I loved this book - I usually do love Steel's novels. It was so interesting with the comparisons of the north and south and protecting her child. I have read all of her books but one - and just couldn't get through that one, even though I tried several times. Want to know which one? The Ring.

Good Suspense
May 12, 2010

I enjoyed this book but not as much as some of her love stories. It had the suspense and romance to it. If you like those kind of books it is a good read. It took me a while to read this one.

Another Hit!
April 29, 2010

I have read all of Danielle Steel's books, and this was an excellent book, and I truly enjoyed. It had suspense, love, and romance in it. It also showed some differences between the North and the South and people's way of life.

I agree with Michelle, it started out like it was going to be good crime drama for a little more excitement than usual. It still was a good book even though I was a little disappointed.
