In Fern Michaels’ riveting tale, Lily Madison and Peter Kelley are in many ways Mr. and Miss Anonymous, given they first met when both were students who donated to a fertility clinic as a way out of debt. Lily felt the place was sinister, although neither acted on their suspicions...or their attraction. But years later, they meet by chance at an airport and watch a broadcast of a school shooting in which one of the two survivors is a boy who looks exactly like Pete! More troubling is that while the teenager was, indeed, conceived at the clinic, he grew up in a group home, rather than with a family. Clearly their long-ago fears were founded. But nothing prepares Lily and Pete for the shocking truth...or its repercussions.

I've never been disappointed in any of Ms Michaels' books. I hope she will write a sequel to this one. It's a page turner. I read it all the way through without stopping. Please, please, please write a continuation to this book!

I haven't read very many of her books but I really enjoyed this one. I too would not be surprised if this really happened in real life.

I love all her books but I must say this one was different.
I wouldn't be surprised if in real life this has been done to people. So many children were born. Where are they. No mention of it in this book.

I love all of her books. This one had a little different story line, but I could hardly put it down. I loved it, and would like to know what happened to all the other "Children".
