James Patterson lives up to his reputation as “America’s #1 storyteller” (Forbes) with a heart-pounding new story of fear and desire. Gorgeous supermodel Syd is on a photo shoot in Hawaii when she disappears. Her parents decide to investigate for themselves, never expecting the horror that awaits them. L.A. Times reporter Ben Hawkins is conducting his own research, hoping to help the victim—and get an idea for his next bestseller. With no leads and no closer to uncovering the kidnapper’s identity, Ben gets a shocking visit that pushes him into an impossible-to-resist deal with the devil. Swimsuit enters chilling new territory where the collision of beauty and murder transforms paradise into a hell of unspeakable horrors.

I love James Patterson, I have read all his books, but this one was just not enjoyable at all, it was so disturbing. I only finished it because I bought the book, I so wish I had not wasted my money. I hope his next Alex Cross book is better too.

this book is good depending of what types of mysteries people like.

Thanks to everyone, this book sounds awful, I will not waste my time or money on it.

I don't think that this book is for the "faint of heart." It seem's that we all could have done without the perversion. A forensic psychologist could handle it better then the average reader.

I have to agree with the majority of these reviews. I finally stopped reading it. I read for pleasure and enjoyment, not to be made sick to my stomach and have nightmares. There is enough horrible things happening in this world that you hear or read about on the news. I don't need to spend money to read about it. I doubt I will ever purchase another Patterson book.
