I loved the book, as I have all of Mitch Albom's books. It was thought provoking, but it was educational too. I am a protestant and have never really tried to learn a lot about the Catholic or the Jewish faiths, and this was very enlightening to me.
Mitch Albom has a way to of bringing your very close to his characters and making you "feel" the reality of his works.

I thought this book was great. I didn't want to put it down. I thought about the Christian and the Jewish Rabbi many times due to their inspiring words of faith long after I put the book down. I will read it again.

This is a most readable touching story of faith. Mitch Albom moves smoothly between from the life story of the aging rabbi and a Christian man who turned his life around to serve the inner city homeless, Each story is powerful, but the tolerance shown between the Jewish and Christian faiths is inspiring.

If you need something to bolster your faith in something bigger than yourself just follow comfortably along with mitch, Very much enjoyed the book and when I need a little warm and fuzzy I will keep it available to read again.
